Burnout, fatigue and AI-driven ways of working are three interconnected pressures reshaping how people experience work and why they leave.

Founded by Georgia Hodkinson, the work explores the hidden organisational patterns sitting beneath turnover and sickness absence.

Reducing your hidden costs behind turnover

Organisational Psychology that addresses fatigue, clarity, and AI

We help organisations uncover why people are leaving or going off sick and what it’s really costing them.

Our founder is an Organisational Psychologist (MSc Occ Psych, GMBPsS), our work focuses on three interconnected issues often overlooked in traditional people strategies: burnout, fatigue, and AI as a system design challenge.

We work with organisations to identify where pressure, poor decision-making, and hidden operational risks are building across teams, leadership, and ways of working, while focusing on the organisational conditions driving performance, retention, and risk outcomes.

Our approach combines occupational psychology, operational insight, and systems thinking to help organisations design healthier, more sustainable ways of working.

Human Factors

What are Human Factors?

Human factors

Human factors sits at the intersection of psychology, physiology, design, and systems thinking and is the field that looks at how people actually behave, think, feel, and make decisions.

This is the design of work, tools, and environments to fit humans.

Core elements

  • Cognitive factors: attention, memory, decision-making, load

  • Physical factors: posture, reach, vision, ergonomics

  • Emotional factors: stress, pressure, motivation, fear

  • Environmental factors: noise, lighting, time pressure.

  • System factors: processes, technology, interfaces.

It asks questions like:

  • How do attention, fatigue, stress, and workload affect performance?

  • Why do capable people make mistakes in certain conditions?

  • How does system design increase or reduce error?

  • What helps people perform well consistently.

Why We Do This Work

The journey into human factors didn’t begin in a textbook.

Our founder started in recruitment, where she learned how people behave under pressure and moved to healthcare, leading crisis teams and supporting frontline staff and ended in the organisational psychology space

It became personal when she faced my own battle with fatigue, the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural crash that changes how you function.

2

My Approach

We build systems that improve safety, thinking, collaboration, and performance.

Every intervention is psychology-led, evidence-informed, tailored to your environment, designed for real-world application and created with measurable outcomes

Designed for real-world application with measurable outcomes. Everything we create is interactive, memorable, and grounded in practical behaviour change.
