WORK DESIGN & ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE
The way work is designed has a direct impact on how well people can perform it.
We help organisations identify where workload, staffing, working patterns, role demands, communication and ways of working are creating unnecessary pressure, fatigue and operational risk.
Using organisational psychology and human factors, I look beyond individual resilience to understand what is happening in the system around the person and where practical changes to the work itself could improve capacity and performance.
This can include workload and capacity, job demands, autonomy and control, communication, staffing, recovery opportunities and how work changes during periods of increased demand.
The aim is to create work that is safer, more sustainable and designed for how people actually perform, not how we assume they should.

Work Design Diagnostic
Assess workload, staffing, cognitive demands, interruptions, autonomy, role clarity, communication, decision pressure and recovery.
Output: Work Design Risk Map + recommendations.

Change & Human Impact Assessment
Particularly good around AI, restructuring, automation and operating-model change.
Assess uncertainty, perceived control, workload redistribution, role ambiguity, decision demands, trust and unintended human consequences before and during change.

Capacity & Workforce Risk Review
Does your workforce plan contain enough human capacity for the operation you actually run?
Exploring vacancies, overtime, absence, training, leave, turnover, demand peaks, emergency response and on-call recovery.
